Forever Grateful

Asked the kids what they were thankful for, Lyss said she was thankful that we are a Grief Recovery Family now and can talk to each other much more.

Joshua is thankful for snakes, because they eat rats and rats cause disease. He is also thankful for the military, because they fight for us and make many sacrifices for people they don’t know.

Me, I️’m thankful for the ability to truly love. For the opportunity and the grace to serve others. For precious time with my husband and family. For new information that has caused me to know better and strive to do better. For a strong, loving community that accepts me just the way I️ am, yet still pushes me to pursue God’s best for me and my family. For this designated time to sit and reflect, to acknowledge what I️’ve lost, but also recognize what I️’ve gained. For God covering me, constantly providing for me and continuously giving me the strength to accept the things I️ cannot change, the courage to change the things I️ can, and the wisdom to know difference.
